Right from the start, it tricks you into watching it thanks to casting Ving Rhames. I thought for sure this was a sequel to the "Dawn of the Dead" remake (which I loved) since it also starred Ving Rhames. I think the ONLY reason he agreed to be in this movie was so he could be made into a zombie. I admit, I love zombie movies -- for the most part. This one was simply horrific, in every way. The acting was horrible, the plot was nonexistant, the zombies were extremely unrealistic (I'm sorry -- but in some movies, the zombies act how they are meant to act...this movie, no...smart zombies??? Seriously?)...just a sad unnecessary movie. I might have enjoyed it if it remotely resembled the original "Day of the Dead" but it was far from the original. I recommend people avoid this stinker...at all costs. There are much more superior zombie movies out there. This is a horrible movie.
