The Lambretta brand in India is going to back once again. The company has officially announced that it will showcase its all-electric G-special scooter at the Auto Expo in February 2020. Lambretta announced a year ago that it would resume operations in India through a joint venture in collaboration with Lohia Auto. However, there is no confirmation about the partnership.
Lambretta recently displayed the G325 petrol scooter at the ongoing EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. The upcoming electric scooter will be based on the G325. The g325 front has long sharp breaks, which is the signature visual feature of Lambretta’s scooters. Its side panels are interchangeable.
The G-Special All Electric Lambretta scooter is expected to have a rectal headlamp in the front and can be LED. In addition, the scooter can also feature front disc brakes, digital analog instrument clusters, etc. The company has indicated that the G-special electric scooter will be a high power model.
